About Terry

After leaving school with 6 O Levels Terry’s first introduction to the industry was at a Foundry & Forge company in Rotherham. After a short stint at British Steel he was fortunate enough to be offered a position as a Sales Assistant at Willan Metals, where he stayed for 16 years learning as much as possible about Vacuum Melting. In 1993, Terry joined Ross & Catherall where he travelled around the world selling Vacuum Superalloys. The amazing experience he gained working for one of the world’s leading Vacuum Alloys gave him the inspiration to set up Select Alloys & Materials Ltd. Initially with just a dream and dedication working very hard long hours the foundation of his vision was built. Now Select Alloys sits proud as being one of the world’s leading suppliers in Vacuum grade scraps and raw materials. Not bad for a lad from a council estate in Whiston! Terry’s ethos is “Don’t just dream about it, do it!”

Simon has been with Select Alloys for over 2 years, working previously at Firth Rixson Metals for 10 years. Simon is Six Sigma Black Belt trained by Rolls Royce, with work experience as a Business Development Manager dealing with the Aerospace, Oil and Gas OEMS and Purchasing Manager with annual spend of £30 million plus

About Beth

Beth has worked at Select Alloys for over 5 years; with a keen interest in Business Management and Economics the majority of her time is spent on controlling the cash flow and stock within the company. Beth has completed courses with the LME in an Introduction to Hedging and is invested in learning the trading side of the business as it continues to grow.

About Faye

Faye has worked at Select Alloys for over 3 years. Starting out in an administration role, Faye soon found her feet within compliance and went on to complete training courses with ISOQAR. Most recently Faye passed the NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Faye played a crucial role in the company gaining its ISO14001 accreditation and continues to work alongside the works manager to maintain the high level of health and safety within the company.<
